Printing Machine Operator - (Large Format)

Job description:

We are an 18 year old leading full-service Graphics and Display Solution company manufacturing Display Stands, Kiosks, Signages; Exhibition stands etc. Located in Dubai Production City.

We are currently seeking “Printing Machine Operator – Large Format”

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate large format printing machines to produce high-quality prints for signage and advertising.
  • Create accurate color profiles using advanced knowledge of X-Rite tools.
  • Leverage expertise in RIP software like Onyx, Maintop, and Photoprint for precise print processing.
  • Set up and calibrate printing machines to meet specific job requirements and ensure color accuracy.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot printing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Manage print jobs from start to finish, including loading materials, monitoring runs, and completing finishing tasks.
  • Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues like misfeeds, print errors, and mechanical problems.
  • Report significant technical problems promptly to maintenance or external service providers.
  • Monitor and track material usage and waste to enhance resource efficiency.
  • Record details of completed print jobs, machine maintenance, and any adjustments made.
  • Maintain detailed production logs tracking time, material usage, and waste per job.
  • Report key production metrics to supervisors and suggest process improvements.
  • Strictly follow safety protocols when operating printing equipment and handling materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating large format printing machines, preferably in the signage or advertising industry.
  • Familiarity with various printing materials such as vinyl, fabric, and PVC.
  • Knowledge of colour calibration, colour profiles and print settings.
  • Work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple print jobs simultaneously.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality output.
  • Advance working knowledge of design software's (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience operating and handling wide format digital printing machines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital printing software, machine operation, and color calibration techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct print quality issues.
  • Capability to troubleshoot minor issues and think proactively to prevent downtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
