Front Office Manager - 5 Hotel
**Key Responsibilities** - **Guest Relations**: Ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience, handling VIP arrivals, and addressing guest complaints promptly and professionally. - **Team Management**: Lead, train, and motivate the front office team, including receptionists, concierge, bell staff, and night auditors. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback. - **Operational Excellence**: Oversee daily front office operations, including room assignments, billing accuracy, and lobby presentation. - **Revenue Management**: Collaborate with the revenue management team to maximize room occupancy and average daily rate (ADR). Monitor and analyze booking trends. - **Budget Management**: Develop and manage the front office budget, controlling expenses without compromising service quality. - **Systems Management**: Ensure proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and train staff as needed. Stay updated on system upgrades and implement best practices. - **Compliance**: Maintain compliance with hotel policies, health and safety standards, and legal requirements. - **Guest Feedback**: Analyze guest feedback (e.g., surveys, online reviews) and implement improvement plans to enhance the guest experience. **Qualifications and Skills** - **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). - **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role in a 4- or 5-star hotel. - **Skills**: - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio). - Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. - Attention to detail and organizational skills. - Multilingual skills are an advantage.
